About Me

With 25 years of experience, knowledge, and expertise from owning and managing a successful upscale flower shop in Evanston, I am now offering mentoring and consulting services to flower shop owners who want to increase their sales and profit. With my supportive and creative approach, I review and assess the current customer sales, planning and buying for daily and holiday sales, and wedding/event sales and management.

I was the Owner and Creative Director of FlowersFlowers in Evanston, IL for 25 successful years. I bought the business in 1999 and developed it into a busy upscale full service florist with a niche English garden design style that included a touch of whimsy. I sold the business and its solid reputation and customer base in December 2024.

While the owner of FlowersFlowers, I created the brand, changed website platforms, designed beautiful and appealing websites, moved the shop location, successfully survived economic changes and a worldwide pandemic, and established and grew a solid retail customer base as well as an outstanding wedding design reputation.

I’m here to help flower shop owners be more financially successful with the fabulous business they love.

Alongside the shop owner, I identify improvements to implement that will increase sales and profits. I thoroughly and enthusiastically share my expertise as a florist and small business owner to assist other florists in making their business as successful as possible.

When I’m not admiring beautiful flowers and mentoring other florists, I’m usually at home in my cozy coach house with a cup of tea and my wonderful cats nearby.
